The stunning Leighton House in Kensington will host a summer evening concert on 30th June to celebrate Rachmaninoff’s 150th anniversary.
Brought to you by the SoNote Production Team, the concert will feature the marvellously talented cellist Denis Shapovalov. He is the winner of the XI International Tchaikovsky Competition and was also the first classical musician to play at the North Pole! Denis will perform with award-winning pianist Caroline Clipsham, playing Rachmaninoff’s unique cello sonata, written for his closest friend – acclaimed cellist Anatoliy Brandukov – and some beautiful romances arranged for cello and piano.
At the interval, guests will be offered complimentary drinks, and will have the chance to admire the paintings by special guest LuSee Art. These works have been inspired by Rachmaninoff‘s romances.
Tickets for the concert cost £67 or £77 and can be purchased online at buytickets.at/thesonoteproduction/926220. Use the special promo code Friends10 to get 10% off the price of a ticket!
