French pianist and improviser Pascale Berthelot will be performing her latest album Secret Season at the Institut français on Wednesday 26th April 2023.
Mixing experimental practices with a classical repertoire, the concert will see her playing her own personal creations as well as several contemporary pieces including works by Gérard Pesson, laureate of the Diaphonique Fund for Contemporary Music run by the Institut français du Royaume-Uni.

About Pascale Berthelot
A concert pianist, improviser and composer, Pascale Berthelot studied at some of the most prestigious music schools in Europe, including graduating from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon. She has since worked with, amongst others, Benjamin Millepied’s dance company.
She has been the artistic director of the collection Cuicatl, dedicated to new music, for the La Buissonne label since 2008. In 2020, ECM Records released her latest album Saison Secrète.
